Energy optimization through cooperative storage management: A calculus of variations approach

چکیده
A framework to optimize energy utilization through battery management in a cooperative environment is proposed. Participating households share access community-owned farm and are equipped with lossy rechargeable batteries. The proposed optimization aims minimize expenditure while accounting for time- location-dependent electricity prices. discharging schedules optimized by using elements of calculus variations optimal control theory. allocation policy designed solving an problem Lagrange Multipliers. Continuous-time techniques used provide explicit solutions the mathematical problems determine closed-form performance estimates. derived analytical expressions can be reduce computational complexity existing strategies, size storage systems, estimate bounds, gain relevant insights. Extensive simulations presented validate theoretical analysis evaluate impact different system parameters. Specifically, cost savings assessed as function efficiency rates nominal output power. It shown that higher operations lead increased price-selectivity algorithm.
